Warehouse Manager
Lead warehouse operations, strengthen inventory accuracy and keep materials flowing to production in a growing technology company.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead and develop our warehouse and material-flow operations in a growing production environment.
The role combines people leadership, operational management, inventory control, material planning, production support, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials and components are available at the right time and in the right quantity, while maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy, efficiency, quality, safety, and production support.
You will work closely with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Management to ensure a reliable and efficient flow of materials throughout the organization.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be expected to both lead the warehouse team and stay close to daily operations.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Material Flow
Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, kitting, internal material supply, packing, and outbound shipments.
Ensure efficient and reliable material flow between warehouse, production, testing, and other operational areas.
Ensure materials and components are correctly identified, stored, handled, and supplied to production.
Coordinate loading and unloading activities in accordance with safety requirements.
Ensure finished products, materials, and equipment are correctly prepared and documented for shipment.
Develop and maintain an organized, efficient, and scalable warehouse structure.
Inventory Management
Take overall responsibility for inventory accuracy and stock control.
Establish and maintain routines for cycle counting, stock checks, reconciliation, and investigation of discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and proactively identify potential shortages or supply risks.
Follow up on damaged, obsolete, or slow-moving inventory.
Ensure all warehouse transactions and material movements are correctly registered in the ERP/WMS system.
Develop and improve inventory-control processes as the company grows.
Production Planning & Material Supply
Work closely with Production and Planning to ensure materials and components are available according to production requirements.
Support production planning through accurate information on stock levels, material availability, and lead times.
Develop and maintain efficient parts-kitting processes, ensuring production orders receive the correct components and quantities.
Establish and improve material replenishment processes, including Kanban and pull-based systems where appropriate.
Identify and resolve material-flow issues that may affect production.
ERP, Systems & Reporting
Take ownership of warehouse-related processes and data in the ERP/WMS system.
Ensure accurate receiving, issuing, transfers, picking, stock control, packing, shipping, and documentation.
Use warehouse and inventory data to monitor performance and support operational decision-making.
Establish relevant warehouse KPIs and follow up on performance.
Support the implementation and development of warehouse systems, tools, and processes.
Requirements
Several years of progressive experience in warehouse management, inventory control, materials management, logistics, or a related field.
Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role.
Experience from a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or technically complex production environment is highly desirable.
Strong practical experience with receiving, storage, picking, kitting, inventory management, material handling, and shipping.
Experience supporting production planning and material requirements.
Strong understanding of inventory control, stock accuracy, cycle counting, reconciliation, and replenishment.
Practical experience with Kanban, pull systems, lean material flow, or similar replenishment processes is an advantage.
Strong experience with ERP/WMS systems and warehouse data.
Experience using data and KPIs to monitor and improve warehouse performance.
Experience developing warehouse procedures, routines, and work instructions.
Experience with 5S, continuous improvement, or lean principles is an advantage.
Good forklift experience; T1, T2, and T4 certification is an advantage.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
English — fluent or strong professional working level.
Ukrainian/Norwegian — an advantage.
